Holding pace and effort are probably one of the greatest skills you can master in triathlon. Today, we look at how that correlates to your bike power, run training, and swim effort. We start with FTP (Functional Threshold Power) tests, including: how you should use them, when are the best times to do them, and how to interpret results in a way that helps you train better. The little decisions we make each day set the tone for our lives. Happy and Healthy are the goals and depend on which way those decisions fall. Training can always be put off, but if you think of it, do it now. Don’t be a robot in search of perfection because it’s not going to come. Embrace imperfection AS perfection. Take responsibility for yourself, as we are what we consistently do. And by all means, be selfish with what makes you healthy.
